More NYFW

More NYFW from NYMag.com...

Proenza Schouler played with prints, creating tribal looks that were at once loud and chic. Every pattern and color was mixed to perfection. And those coats that can be zipped off to be shorter are going to be huge.

3.1 Phillip Lim luxed up off-duty downtown layering with leather in unexpected silhouettes.

Rodarte carried on with a major undertone of this fashion week, which is a sort of futuristic femininity. Here, the duo took the of-the-moment ladylike look and updated it with geometric shapes, minimalist pieces, sharp lines and sheer fabrics. While the details scream modern, the overall result is vintage-inspired, with some looks even bordering on Victorian.

Marc by Marc Jacobs continued with more vintage-inspired ladylike looks, but with a cool edge that keeps them "now" and anything but stuffy.

Derek Lam was all about the glam factor, with breathtakingly beautiful gowns that were striking in their simplicity.
